• Custom designed huge 1in. diameter, 7oz. pure copper heatsink that threads into extra 6061 aluminum added to the large focus bell for continuous run time even at full power.
• Battery gauge that displays the remaining battery life in 25% increments.
• Custom built main power tail switch assembly with 10A forward clicky switch, heavy gauge phosphor bronze spring, and brass contact button.
• The large zoom bell on the host is used for focusing the laser giving precise and steady control.
• User changeable laser collimating lens.
• Custom faceplate accepts standard hobby laser 3X/5X Beam Expanders and “star caps” with industry standard 11.3mm threads.
• Faceplate also includes a heavy duty M25xP1 threaded accessory mount that accepts:
  • Linos Beam Expanders with Lumen Works 6061 aluminum adapter.
  • Safety Caps that can be attached to obscure the laser aperture for safety.

Superior Run Time Duty Cycle: This laser is capable of running indefinitely at full 7500 laser output without overheating.

IP64 Rating: IP64 Ingress Protection (IP) rating that indicates: 6 = Completely dust-tight (no dust ingress), 4 = Protected against water splashes from any direction.

• A Quartz lens (A.K.A. “Slice”) is located in front of the collimating lens and includes a high heat tolerant silicon o-ring.
• O-rings are fitted throughout the device to prevent water and dust ingress.
• The laser comes with extra o-rings and special silicon grease lubricant to use on the o-rings and threads.

Main Power Tail Switch Assembly: The high-current switch is mounted on a thick PCB. Includes a heavy gauge phosphor bronze spring.

Smart Driver with Multi-Modes and Protection: The premium driver has extra copper and thermal pad heatsink material added. Includes a heavy gauge phosphor bronze spring.

• 4 brightness modes selectable using the forward side button.
• Double-click for strobe.
• Undervoltage protection to keep the battery safe. Flashes once per three seconds when battery level is low.
• Undercurrent protection will reduce the brightness level if the battery doesn’t have enough current.
• Thermal protection will reduce the brightness level if the driver overheats.

Adjustable Focus Lens: Customize your beam pattern with an adjustable focus lens. Simply twist the focus bell of the device to focus the beam anywhere from infinity to a tiny spot at a short distance that can be used for engraving/burning. Add a Beam Expander to greatly extend the distance at which the beam can be focused into a dot. A Beam Expander also improves the beam divergence of this laser diode and provides for a smaller dot size at a distance.

Laser Lens: Includes a high quality 3 glass element lens. Message if you prefer a DTR G8 lens.

Battery: Two high drain 26650 batteries are required. Also includes an adapter to use 18650 batteries. We recommend this battery: 26650 KeepPower UH2660 IMR26650 6000mAh 15A from Illumn.com. 26650 KeepPower UH2655 IMR26650 5500mAh Flat Top.

Beam Expander Capable: A standard BE (Beam Expander) can be attached to the faceplate without the need for an adapter. Beam expanders are used in industrial and commercial laser machines to perform specific tasks. The expander simply magnifies the incoming beam so that the output beam is larger/fatter. Beam expanders are available for hobby use in standard 3X and 5X values. A Beam Expander also improves the beam divergence of this laser diode and provides for a smaller dot size at a distance.

Linos Variable 2X-8X Beam Expander Capable: A Linos BE can be attached to the laser using a custom aluminum adapter.

Optional Safety Cap: The safety caps can be mounted on the faceplate over the laser output lens. The safety cap comes with a “Remove Before Flight” tag, a lobster claw clip, and wrist strap. Use the wrist strap with lobster claw clip to attach the safety cap when not attached to the laser device to keep them close by.

Optional Storage Case: A high quality, heavy duty, lockable (Combination lock included), padded, storage case is available.

Eye Safety: It is absolutely essential that proper laser safety goggles are used for viewing the laser beam spot at close ranges (even 20 feet away can be too bright for the naked eye). Use CE OD4+ safety goggles rated for the light wavelength of this laser device. Be careful of fake safety goggles. Look for a CE rating and the specifications printed on the lens of the goggles. Good goggles don’t have to be expensive and just because they’re expensive doesn’t mean they’re good.
